I prepare questions for my three friends to create a critical space of thinking. The answer seems sketchy but eager to show the similarity of traits called memory. A collective memory shared by those who were born under the New Order regime and brought up after the fall of the regime which also shares the euphoria of 1998 Reformasi.
The first question is how does it like to live under the last generation who live under New Order regime, their memory about the May 1998 riot and what kind of information that they consumed back then? How today any information is accessible, and to questions them: as the new generation, observing the older generation who brought up under the New Order regime.
Every answer relies on the capability to memorize so that my friends can restate facts and situations as an analysis. I demand answers by using all gathered information they have. And my friends were confronted with a simple problem-solving by using their existing knowledge.
